Although I have
been formally trained and can teach conventionally, my method of
teaching would certainly be termed unconventional by the standards
set by the conservatory of music, but they have fostered some terrific
results for my students.
After they've reached a certain level of competence, I teach students
to learn songs they want to learn to play, and teach it to them
at a level that they can achieve results at. I have found it to
be most challenging because you really have to know at what level
your students play the guitar, and when they actually do learn a
song, even in it's simplest form, it creates enthusiasm which is
one of the greatest motivators. There's a lot of fun involved with
learning to play the guitar, and I try not to let my students lose
focus of that.
Learn to play the guitar from a conscientious professional guitar
player like myself. I do it for a living and I know what you need
to know to be successful. I have openings for students on Mondays,
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. I start teaching early in
the afternoon and teach until around nine o'clock in the evening.
If you practice, I guarantee results!
